A place to live, play, work, entertain, and connect.

Hittin is a 3.3km2 site located in the northwest corner of Riyadh near the King Abdullah Financial District, directly adjacent to Muhammad Bin Salman Road. The site is perfectly situated as a link to a network of city hubs and transit corridors including the future Sports Boulevard. The largely undeveloped site currently serves as a temporary venue for the groundbreaking Riyadh Season Festival which attracted nearly 3 million attendees in 2019. This plan envisions the site as an innovative and sustainable district that capitalizes on connections to Sports Boulevard and King Abdullah Financial District to foster a unique live, play, work, entertain, and connected district. Each of these characteristics incorporated into the vision plan in specific and strategic ways: Live: Incorporate a diverse mix of housing types that promotes multi-generational living, Play: Focus on year-round active spaces for fitness and wellness, Work: Carve out neighborhood commercial cores and robust connections to King Abdullah Financial District, Entertain: Create a focal point of art and entertainment through iconic attractions for visitors and residents, Connect: Weave in networks of transit and social hubs that spark connections.
